CONGRATULATIONS to all the Kitchener Lady Rangers U18
“A” players and staff for qualifying for the 2023 - 2024 OWHA Provincial
Championships.
After “50” regular season, tournament, playoff and playdown games, game “51” sealed a well-deserved end to the Provincial Qualifiers. Coming out strong in game #4, the Lady’s drove the bus from beginning to end. Up 1 – 0 after the first, the second period would reward the Lady’s for all their hard work and efforts and solidify making it to Provincials “on their own”.
Although some may “expect” to qualify yearly, it is something that should never be taken for granted. Your continued determined effort was the difference. That “continued effort” will take you a long way in life. A sincere thanks to the Brantford Ice Cats, Cambridge Roadrunners, Woolwich Wild and the Waterloo Ravens for four well-played qualifying games and our congratulations to the Waterloo Ravens for also qualifying.
To our ladies, there are no guarantees going forth to Provincials. Anything can happen once you are there, which is the true importance of having met your goal in qualifying. If you continue your hard work and commit to playing Lady Rangers Hockey, you will compete against anyone. We hope you all believe in yourselves as much as we believe in each and every one of you. Together, you are truly a great “team”.
On behalf of James, Ken, Sarah and Tim, congratulations on being one of the "M" Region representatives for the 2023 - 2024 OWHA Provincial Championships. Whatever Provincial weekend may hold, please know that it has been a real pleasure for all of us to have been part of your 2023 – 2024 season.
