Alumni Spotlight: Akey Makes Canadian National Junior Team
Kitchener U15 AAA is proud to congratulate former Jr Ranger Alumni Beau Akey on his selection for Team Canada!

Beau and Team Canada will participate in the 2025 World Junior Hockey Championships as the host nation with the tournament taking place December 26th, 2024 to January 5th, 2025 in Ottawa. 

This Season, Beau has been patrolling the blue line for the Eastern Conference leading Barrie Colts in the Ontario Hockey League. The right shot defenceman has suited up for 25 games and has scored 4 goals along with 15 assists. 

Soon to be even more of a household name across the country come Boxing Day, U15 Kitchener AAA congratulates Beau on his accomplishment and will be cheering him and Team Canada on as they go for gold in our nations capital.

Sun Life Kids In Gear
Donna's Kids is pleased to partner again for 2019/2020 season with Sun Life and their Kids In Gear program. Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, as part of their mandate, provides financial support for children in this community who, without our assistance, would not be afforded the opportunity to participate in organized hockey in the City of Kitchener. Monies for this cause have been donated by various individuals and organizations over the years, however with increasing demands we have the need to provide further support for this program. One hundred per cent of the funds raised by KIDS IN GEAR are channelled directly to purchase equipment for children.
