AA/A player evaluations beginning on Saturday April 27th
Player Evaluation/Tryout
Information
Thank you for your interest in attending the AA/A player evaluations/tryouts.
The coaching staff the U13 AA team is extremely excited to get started. The
coaching staff would like to share some information regarding for the sessions
with those attending.
Specific player "group" details will be provided to all
participants starting Thursday April 25th.
Please ensure you have all your equipment prepared (including a jersey) before
arriving for the first ice time.
Please check in at the U13 AA/A table upon arriving at Sports world Arena on
Saturday prior to finding a dressing room. At this time participants
will be issued a Player - Parent Evaluation Handbook and a web ID number. This web ID will be used to follow the online
tryout selection process for the U13 AA/A Team. Players will also be issued a
dressing room and on ice number at this time.
Players, please be ready to go at your ice start time. Listen to the Coaches
and be focused during the drills. If you need help, please do not hesitate to
ask. This means everyone needs to pay attention when a drill is explained by
the coaches.
The first set of ice times on Saturday are skill sessions. The second set of
ice times are small area games, and the Sunday session will be intersquad games.
Monday April 29, Tuesday April
30, Wednesday May 1, Thursday May 2 and Friday May 3 will be exhibition games. Player line ups for these games will be posted
on the website, one day prior to the specific game.
The first selections will take place online after the last ice time on Sunday
April 28th. The web ID numbers listed on this U13 AA/A Seeded Team
page will be moving forward with the Seeded Team player evaluation process.
If you do not see you number listed we wish you all the best with the
upcoming season!
If you would like player
evaluation feedback and or a development plan, one will be provided by email. Please
wait 24 hours after selections before reaching out.
The coaching staff would like to mention we are not just looking at
talent during this player evaluation/tryouts. We are also looking for those
players who are hard workers in practice, altruistic behavior, have great
attitudes, give relentless effort, listen well, and possess a never give up
mind set. Also, we are looking for great teammates both on and off the ice, and
players who are committed to team play and team accomplishment over individual
rewards.
