24/25 U16 BB Evaluations
On behalf of Luke Richber and myself, welcome to the 24/25 U16 BB Evaluations.

We’ve had a tremendous response with interested players, so we’ve had to take our group on Monday May 6 at Activa Sportsplex (PJD) and split it in half.  All players have either been assigned Cohort A, B, C or D.  This label doesn’t signify skill/priority.  We just split it up into four equal groups.

We have two evaluations taking place tomorrow.  First is from 7pm - 8:30pm and the second one is 8:30pm - 10pm.  Each athlete was assigned a time and a cohort by email.  If you have not received your personalized email, please reach out right away.

At the rink, each player will receive a 3-digit tryout ID that you can use to watch your progress throughout the selection process.  It's a pretty busy week, so please refer back to the news section for both teams (Blue/Red) each night.

Under Hockey Canada guidance, each entrant is entitled to 3 sessions for evaluations.  Given we have 90 minutes for each participant the first night, we have broken up our first ice time into two sessions.  Part 1 will include skills and drills (40 minutes).  Part 2 will include small area simulated games (40 minutes).  Some releases could take place after the intersquad on Tuesday.

Please reach out to Luke or I with questions.  We wish everyone luck and look forward to seeing you put forth your best effort.

Sponsors
The Kitchener Rangers
Our hometown heros, The Kitchener Rangers, return for the 19th year as the official sponsor of ALL of KMHA's Lady Ranger & Jr. Ranger teams! Thanks for your support & LET'S GO RANGERS! Through a partnership agreement with Sunlife of Canada, the Rangers also support DONNA'S KIDS through their KIDS IN GEAR CAMPAIGN!
Sun Life Kids In Gear
Donna's Kids is pleased to partner again for 2019/2020 season with Sun Life and their Kids In Gear program. Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, as part of their mandate, provides financial support for children in this community who, without our assistance, would not be afforded the opportunity to participate in organized hockey in the City of Kitchener. Monies for this cause have been donated by various individuals and organizations over the years, however with increasing demands we have the need to provide further support for this program. One hundred per cent of the funds raised by KIDS IN GEAR are channelled directly to purchase equipment for children.
McDonald's Restaurants
KMHA is proud to have McDonald's Canada in our stable of sponsors. This year, McDonald's is once again sponsoring our entire Boys Atom divions under their intiative, atoMc Hockey. Timbits
The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games and do so with our own KITCHENER JR. A RANGERS. Tim Horton's once again sponsor's our 40 entry level HL teams this year.
