Playoff's - Round #3 - Game #2
The Kitchener Lady Rangers travelled to Ancaster for Game #2 of Round #3. Giving up an unfortunate two points, the Lady’s must get back to controlling what they can.

There are no sugar-coating things. Regardless of how you saw the calls (I haven’t spoken to the officials that much this entire season), I believe they were doing their best and you must simply focus on the things that you can control.  No one should be alone in our house – ever. Period. Exclamation point. We must make hard passes. Period. Shots MUST hit the net (this is broken record syndrome). In a game you should have won handily, you lost focus on the things that were in your control to be successful. You out shot and out chanced but the attention to detail (both GA’s were PP goals) got the best of you.

Play with urgency right from the start. Be responsible for “your” assignments. Don’t focus on the things you cannot control. Be “Goldfish”.

The Toyota Hockey Challenge consists of round robin competition amongst top Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge teams, with the top two teams then competing in a one-game show down that will determine the team to represent the Tri-Cities in a once-in-a-lifetime cultural exchange to Japan.
