Playoff's - Round #3 - Game #6
The Kitchener Lady Rangers welcomed the Ancaster Avalanche to the 6th and final Game of Round #3.
The Lady’s started strong in the first, hitting the net on the first several shifts of the period. Continuing their solid play into the second, a defense miscue on our PP gave the Avalanche the opening goal on their fourth shot of the game just over five minutes in. Moments later, a great “Waterloo” call by the coach (Ok 10, I know you were calling it as well!) tied the game up at “one”. An even third on both sides would see game “fifty-eight” of the 2024 – 2025 season end in a tie, giving the Lady’s a respectable seventy-two points on the season overall.
The coaching staff was pleased with everyone’s efforts over the fifty-eight-game season. We know that it is a long time to be together and we appreciated even more the “quality” of “your” room. The ability to get along and function on “any” team is such a crucial part in life and we are proud of how well you kept that “function” throughout the past seven months.
On behalf of the Lady Rangers players and staff we want to thank Ancaster, Bluewater and St. Catharines for a great third round of playoffs.
