Final Thanks
On behalf of James, Ken, Sarah and Tim, I wanted to say a final thanks to everyone for our 2024 – 2025 season.

This was another unique season for the coaching staff for several reasons. From starting with a season ending injury before the season ever began, to a player departure post tryout, to a player arrival at seasons beginning, to short benches, to having a great bunch of skilled and talented players, the season had it all. Yes, we wanted more for the ladies, but we cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed being a part of their last seven months. You have a great bunch of daughters, and we feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to coach them this season.

Many thanks to Kenny as well for his scheduling efforts, stats tracking and dealings with the OWHA. It is not as simple as it seems, and we all sincerely appreciated the time you put in behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly throughout the season.

Was this a perfect season of hockey – not at all. Were there challenges – yes there were. Did we always agree – absolutely not; and that’s what makes each season unique for the players, parents and coaching staff. Keep the “good” with you and leave the “bad” behind in the trash where it belongs. Success and personal growth require both but sometimes we hold onto the “bad” for far longer than we should. We do hope that you saw the growth and development of your daughters, as we did, both individually and as a team. We hope they will all continue to make good “Choices and Options” in the seasons and years to come.

The ability to make good “Choices and Options” is something that hope will stay with the ladies for the rest of their lives. As we all know, there’s going to be a life AFTER HOCKEY that was a lot longer than their HOCKEY LIFE. AND remember ladies; try to show up at least fifteen minutes early for those job interviews (insert smiley face here!!)

We are sincerely proud of all the ladies’ efforts and accomplishments this season. It was a real pleasure!

Sponsors
Timbits
The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games and do so with our own KITCHENER JR. A RANGERS. Tim Horton's once again sponsor's our 40 entry level HL teams this year.
The Kitchener Rangers
Our hometown heros, The Kitchener Rangers, return for the 19th year as the official sponsor of ALL of KMHA's Lady Ranger & Jr. Ranger teams! Thanks for your support & LET'S GO RANGERS! Through a partnership agreement with Sunlife of Canada, the Rangers also support DONNA'S KIDS through their KIDS IN GEAR CAMPAIGN!
Sun Life Kids In Gear
Donna's Kids is pleased to partner again for 2019/2020 season with Sun Life and their Kids In Gear program. Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, as part of their mandate, provides financial support for children in this community who, without our assistance, would not be afforded the opportunity to participate in organized hockey in the City of Kitchener. Monies for this cause have been donated by various individuals and organizations over the years, however with increasing demands we have the need to provide further support for this program. One hundred per cent of the funds raised by KIDS IN GEAR are channelled directly to purchase equipment for children.
