Final Results
Dan, Andy and I would like to thank all the Ladies for their hard work throughout these very competitive tryouts

Every player that was in attendance last night has potential to make a valuable contribution to this team, however, unfortunately we have to make some very difficult decisions as we only have 17 positions available.

We began this process with close to 40 players in the tryout and the final decisions were very close. We have gathered a significant amount of data that includes ratings from our independent evaluators throughout the tryouts, and we used all of this information to make our final decisions.

We applaud everyone for having the courage to tryout, and all 3 of us can relate to how disappointing it can be to be released from a tryout. We have all been there throughout our years of hockey.  We encourage you to continue to strive for greatness, and wish you a very successful hockey season!

If you were not selected for this team, we would like to have you listed as a “call up” if needed this season.  Also, please note that based on the numbers and available talent within this age group, KHMA is evaluating adding an additional U18 rep team. KMHA will be reaching out to you to gauge interest to move this forward.

Congratulations to the following “Tryout ID’s” that have been selected to be part of the Kitchener Lady Rangers U18B Team for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

11, 17, 22, 24, 25,

28, 29, 30, 34, 42,

43, 45, 46, 47, 50

55 & 61

Thanks again,

Ryan, Dan & Andy

Our friends at Toyota continue to support Kitchener Minor Hockey by returning as a House League Gold Sponsor yet again for this season. Toyota also sponsors the Toyota Challenge featuring teams from the region in competition and the opportunity to travel to Japan. The Toyota Hockey Challenge consists of round robin competition amongst top Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge teams, with the top two teams then competing in a one-game show down that will determine the team to represent the Tri-Cities in a once-in-a-lifetime cultural exchange to Japan. The team that wins the Toyota Hockey Challenge will travel to Hokkaido, Japan during March Break for a cultural exchange with the Tomakomai Allstars, all expenses paid by TMMC. Thanks Toyota!

Timbits
The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games and do so with our own KITCHENER JR. A RANGERS. Tim Horton's once again sponsor's our 40 entry level HL teams this year.
