The players, families, and friends of the Kitchener Jr Rangers U10AAA and U10AA teams came together February 22/26 for a fundraising event thoughtfully organized by the U10AA Social Committee to support Harrison Yoshy, a young Jr Ranger player battling a medical concern no child should ever face.
Harrison's journey has come with unexpected challenges for his family. With frequent medical appointments and treatments, one or both parents often need to step away from work to be at Harrison’s side. Through it all, Harrison continues to show incredible strength, bravery, courage and heart—qualities that inspire everyone around him.
With very generous contributions that supported the day's event from hamblyshockeyville, Depth Hockey, WW3photography, Forrest Goaltending, Starbucks Canada, 1st Impressions, OSullivan Concrete Floors, the University of Waterloo, and, Cooks On Call, $3,000 was raised for Harrision's family through a raffle, food sales, and cash donations. Our hope is that this contribution helps ease some of the day-to-day pressures during this time, allowing the family to stay focused on Harrison’s health
