An overtime win that didn’t happen because of luck, it happened because this group believes in each other. Every kid in that room had a moment this weekend where they stepped up, pushed through, and showed why this team is special.
Our leaders set the tone.
Our depth guys battled for every loose puck.
Our goalies made the big saves when the game was on the line.
Our defense never backed down.
Our forwards found a way shift after shift even when their legs were gone.
And full credit to Oshawa. They showed pure heart and pushed us to our absolute limit. That game brought out the best in both teams.
I’m proud of these players, not just for the banner, but for how they carry themselves. The way they support each other. The way they block shots, win races, lift each other up, and keep believing when the pressure hits. Those are habits of a team that plays for something bigger than themselves.
