U11 BB Blue
Good morning this is an exciting day! The first day of the Kitchener Jr Rangers BB Red/Blue Teams Tryouts. The Tryouts for these 2 Teams are a shared ice time Tryout making the process a little confusing for players and parents.
Players attending Tryouts today and Sunday will be evaluated by both Coaching Staffs. During the process this weekend the Red Team will have the opportunity to select their roster first. The Red Team has until Thursday of next week to submit their full roster. Then and only then can the Blue Team start the signing process for the Blue BB Team.
As players are released over the next few days, the Blue Team Staff will send out an invitation to the BB Tryout on Tuesday May 6 5-6pm.

My name is Bryan Stevens I`m proud to announce that I`m the Head coach of the Kitchener Jr Rangers U11 BB Blue Team. Let me introduce our Coaching Staff. Jeff Rumble (Coached at all levels of Rep Hockey, Referee for many years at all levels, outstanding Coach, former Waterloo Regional Police Officer), Eric De Boer (Eric has several years of coaching at the HL/HL Select level, very good Coach and Player Development skills), Jeff Johnston (played, Coached at all levels of Rep Hockey including U18 Boys AAA, and Kitchener Jr. B. Jeff is also a former Goalie with our Home Town Kitchener Rangers OHL, outstanding Coach. Jeff is also a Kitchener Firefighter). Myself I have played and Coached at all levels of Rep Hockey in the Alliance, OHA, GTHL Leagues. I`m the former GM/Asst Coach of Kitchener Dutchmen Jr B Team, and the U18 Boys AAA KJR Team.

We have a strong coaching Staff with many years of experience and success in the game of Hockey. Last year we came together for the first time coaching the U10 KJR Select Team and won 3 Tournaments including the Halton Hills BB Tournament as a Select Team, then went on to win the Alliance Championship. We have a simple Philosophy, work hard, strive to be better individually and as a Team Member, every Shift, Game, and Practice. Most of all have fun doing this. Be excited to come to the rink, learn from your mistakes, and go as far as you want to go in the most incredible sport of Hockey and what it has to offer.

Good luck today and throughout the Tryout Process, were excited to offer you spot on the BB Blue Team.

Timbits
The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games and do so with our own KITCHENER JR. A RANGERS. Tim Horton's once again sponsor's our 40 entry level HL teams this year.
The Kitchener Rangers
Our hometown heros, The Kitchener Rangers, return for the 19th year as the official sponsor of ALL of KMHA's Lady Ranger & Jr. Ranger teams! Thanks for your support & LET'S GO RANGERS! Through a partnership agreement with Sunlife of Canada, the Rangers also support DONNA'S KIDS through their KIDS IN GEAR CAMPAIGN!
Sun Life Kids In Gear
Donna's Kids is pleased to partner again for 2019/2020 season with Sun Life and their Kids In Gear program. Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, as part of their mandate, provides financial support for children in this community who, without our assistance, would not be afforded the opportunity to participate in organized hockey in the City of Kitchener. Monies for this cause have been donated by various individuals and organizations over the years, however with increasing demands we have the need to provide further support for this program. One hundred per cent of the funds raised by KIDS IN GEAR are channelled directly to purchase equipment for children.
