Upcoming U14 BB/B Red & Blue Tryout Information
Welcome to the 2025-26 U14 BB/B Player Evaluations!

This website will be your access point for all information, guidelines, and release information until the Red team is selected on Thursday May 8th. All players that remain eligible for the Blue team after Thursday, will then focus their attention to the U14 BB/B Blue team website. Releases made along the way will be from both teams, meaning once a player is released, they are no longer eligible for either the Red or Blue team.

The first evaluation sessions will take place on Monday evening. As reflected on the schedule, your player will be grouped by last name. PLEASE NOTE: coaches may need to make adjustments so please be ready for either ice time. Any requests from coaches to change your time will be made by Sunday evening at 9pm so if you haven't heard otherwise, please attend based on your player's last name.

When you arrive Monday, please visit the registration table in the lobby where your player will be provided an information sheet that includes a personalized WebID# so you can track your player's status throughout the process. You will also be provided a jersey. Please inform your player that they will need to return their jersey/pinnie after ice times as they will be reassigned each session. Coaches will ask for them but it is easy for players to just throw them into their bag. It is important we get these jerseys/pinnies back each session.

IMPORTANT: the deadline for registration is Wednesday May 7th, 2025 @ 3pm, at which point the tryouts will close to any new registrations.

Thanks for your interest in the U14BB/B tryouts!

We look forward to seeing you at the rink.

Blue Coaches: Jack Carscadden, Mya Clarke
Red Coaches: David McCowan, Mike Ryan, Tyler Nivins

Sponsors
Timbits
The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games and do so with our own KITCHENER JR. A RANGERS. Tim Horton's once again sponsor's our 40 entry level HL teams this year.
McDonald's Restaurants
KMHA is proud to have McDonald's Canada in our stable of sponsors. This year, McDonald's is once again sponsoring our entire Boys Atom divions under their intiative, atoMc Hockey. Last Season, one of our Atom Teams was awarded lunch and a day with Stanley Cup Champion Drew Doughty of Los Angeles Kings!! Thanks McDonald's!
Scotiabank
Scotiabank returns as a PLATINUM LEVEL SPONSOR for yet another season. They have five Kitchener branches to serve you. Last season, local Scotiabank managers were instrumental in arranging to feature our Peewee Bisons on Hockey Night in Canada! Thanks Scotiabank!
The Kitchener Rangers
Our hometown heros, The Kitchener Rangers, return for the 19th year as the official sponsor of ALL of KMHA's Lady Ranger & Jr. Ranger teams! Thanks for your support & LET'S GO RANGERS! Through a partnership agreement with Sunlife of Canada, the Rangers also support DONNA'S KIDS through their KIDS IN GEAR CAMPAIGN!
Sun Life Kids In Gear
Donna's Kids is pleased to partner again for 2019/2020 season with Sun Life and their Kids In Gear program. Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, as part of their mandate, provides financial support for children in this community who, without our assistance, would not be afforded the opportunity to participate in organized hockey in the City of Kitchener. Monies for this cause have been donated by various individuals and organizations over the years, however with increasing demands we have the need to provide further support for this program. One hundred per cent of the funds raised by KIDS IN GEAR are channelled directly to purchase equipment for children.
