The U14 Jr Red Rangers took to the ice this past weekend in Mississauga at the Applewood ‘A’ Challenge Cup Tournament.
The players had put in some very hard work to this point in
the season and the fruits of their labour were demonstrated in spades!
The team balanced defensive responsibility with a relentless
offensive attack which culminated in a complete team game. They outscored their
opponents 39-4 to win the championship, beating the host Applewood Coyotes 3-0 in
the finals, who truly tested the Rangers in the final.
The team earned this victory by adopting a team
centered approach. Their coaches and families couldn’t be any more proud of how
they conducted themselves. Way to go Rangers!
