Thank you to all players who came out this year - we had a very talented group of players to choose from and wish we could've taken you all. However...congratulations to all the players who made the team, as mentioned, some tough decisions were made by the coaches but we are excited to have you all this year!

Please note that tomorrow (Sunday, May 11th) we will have a short practice from 11am- (approx.)1150am at Sportsworld. This practice will be a light skate to get to know each other and loosen up from a long week of tryouts! We ask everyone (players, and parents if possible) to be there at 10am for a short parent/player meeting before practice. We just want to introduce ourselves and give a run down of expectations going into the fall. We will not be diving into details or logistics of the upcoming season as KMHA encourages these discussions to not take place now, but instead closer to the season. Thus, we plan to do an organized parent meeting at the end of summer, around August, to discuss staffing, other volunteer roles, budget, tournaments etc. We will also plan players meetings at that time. We ask for your support in making tomorrow a light-hearted, introductions focused meeting and a fun first skate going into summer break.

Thank you all for your respect and patience during the stressful time of tryouts! We appreciate you all and look forward to the season ahead!

Please reach out if you have any questions.

Best and see you tomorrow morning,

Coach Jack Carscadden ([email protected]) (517-775-0114 *this is a long distance number so please call Mya if needed)

The Toyota Hockey Challenge consists of round robin competition amongst top Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge teams, with the top two teams then competing in a one-game show down that will determine the team to represent the Tri-Cities in a once-in-a-lifetime cultural exchange to Japan. The team that wins the Toyota Hockey Challenge will travel to Hokkaido, Japan during March Break for a cultural exchange with the Tomakomai Allstars, all expenses paid by TMMC. Thanks Toyota!
Sun Life Kids In Gear
Donna's Kids is pleased to partner again for 2019/2020 season with Sun Life and their Kids In Gear program. Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, as part of their mandate, provides financial support for children in this community who, without our assistance, would not be afforded the opportunity to participate in organized hockey in the City of Kitchener. Monies for this cause have been donated by various individuals and organizations over the years, however with increasing demands we have the need to provide further support for this program. One hundred per cent of the funds raised by KIDS IN GEAR are channelled directly to purchase equipment for children.
