2025 BB TRYOUTS
Hello All. Another exciting year of tryouts is around the corner. I look forward to seeing everyone at the rink. 

As we know this is a a very competitive age group with lots of players trying out.Please read the attached memo from KMHA to better familiarize yourself with the tryout process. I want you to understand that KMHA has agreed to give the Blue and White team their second goalie, so we will be able to have a full team this year. As a parent, I understand you wanting to do what's best for you and your family. As a coach, I hope to see everybody at BB tryout give it their all, and understand that playing for Kitchener Junior Rangers is an extreme privilege. Especially since we are the only age group with a third BB team. We have some amazing coaches, that are eager to teach the kids hockey, and have some fun along the way.Let's have a great year and more info regarding the tryout to come.If you have any questions, please reach out to any of the BB coaches.

Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, as part of their mandate, provides financial support for children in this community who, without our assistance, would not be afforded the opportunity to participate in organized hockey in the City of Kitchener. Monies for this cause have been donated by various individuals and organizations over the years, however with increasing demands we have the need to provide further support for this program. One hundred per cent of the funds raised by KIDS IN GEAR are channelled directly to purchase equipment for children.

Our friends at Toyota continue to support Kitchener Minor Hockey by returning as a House League Gold Sponsor yet again for this season. Toyota also sponsors the Toyota Challenge featuring teams from the region in competition and the opportunity to travel to Japan. The Toyota Hockey Challenge consists of round robin competition amongst top Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge teams, with the top two teams then competing in a one-game show down that will determine the team to represent the Tri-Cities in a once-in-a-lifetime cultural exchange to Japan. The team that wins the Toyota Hockey Challenge will travel to Hokkaido, Japan during March Break for a cultural exchange with the Tomakomai Allstars, all expenses paid by TMMC. Thanks Toyota!

The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts.
