BB Tryout Process Update
Hello All,

Another exciting year of tryouts is around the corner. We look forward to seeing everyone at the rink.

As we know this is a a very competitive age group with lots of players trying out. Please read the attached memo from KMHA to better familiarize yourself with the tryout process. I want you to understand that KMHA has agreed to give the Blue and White team their second goalie, so we will be able to have a full team this year. As a parent, I understand you wanting to do what's best for you and your family. As a coach, I hope to see everybody at BB tryout give it their all, and understand that playing for Kitchener Junior Rangers is an extreme privilege. Especially since we are the only age group with a third BB team. We have some amazing coaches, that are eager to teach the kids hockey, and have some fun along the way. Let's have a great year and more info regarding the tryout to come. If you have any questions, please reach out to any of the BB coaches.

Red - Coach Dave
Blue - Coach Jon
White - Coach Lou

Timbits
The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games and do so with our own KITCHENER JR. A RANGERS. Tim Horton's once again sponsor's our 40 entry level HL teams this year.
Scotiabank
Scotiabank returns as a PLATINUM LEVEL SPONSOR for yet another season. They have five Kitchener branches to serve you. Last season, local Scotiabank managers were instrumental in arranging to feature our Peewee Bisons on Hockey Night in Canada! Thanks Scotiabank!
The Kitchener Rangers
Our hometown heros, The Kitchener Rangers, return for the 19th year as the official sponsor of ALL of KMHA's Lady Ranger & Jr. Ranger teams! Thanks for your support & LET'S GO RANGERS! Through a partnership agreement with Sunlife of Canada, the Rangers also support DONNA'S KIDS through their KIDS IN GEAR CAMPAIGN!
Sun Life Kids In Gear
Donna's Kids is pleased to partner again for 2019/2020 season with Sun Life and their Kids In Gear program. Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, as part of their mandate, provides financial support for children in this community who, without our assistance, would not be afforded the opportunity to participate in organized hockey in the City of Kitchener. Monies for this cause have been donated by various individuals and organizations over the years, however with increasing demands we have the need to provide further support for this program. One hundred per cent of the funds raised by KIDS IN GEAR are channelled directly to purchase equipment for children.
