Final Releases - Tryout Thanks
On behalf of the 2025 / 2026 U18 "A" Coaching and Evaluation Staff, I wanted to say a sincere "thanks" to all those who attended our tryouts.

Attending "any" tryout is never easy but the function of "tryouts" in any sport is invaluable. The decisions made in getting down to sixteen players and two goalies were difficult. We know there will be several "disappointments" and although getting cut is a reality for anyone playing competitive sports, we understand it still "sucks". We wanted everyone to know that we truly appreciated all your efforts. My sincere thanks to all the evaluation staff that came out over the course of tryouts, you are a wonderful group of ladies! The information correlated, tabulated, and written was invaluable in assisting us throughout the tryout process.

Congratulations to the following players who will make up our 2025 - 2026 U18"A" team.

11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 21, 23, 26, 28, 29, 32, 34, 35, 36, 38, 40, 42 and 45.

On behalf of the evaluation and coaching staff, I wanted to again say "thanks" for coming to our tryouts. We wish you all the best for your 2025/2026 hockey season.

Timbits
The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts. Timbits hockey teams are often given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at Junior, American Hockey League (AHL) and National Hockey League (NHL) games and do so with our own KITCHENER JR. A RANGERS. Tim Horton's once again sponsor's our 40 entry level HL teams this year.
Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada
Our friends at Toyota continue to support Kitchener Minor Hockey by returning as a House League Gold Sponsor yet again for this season. Toyota also sponsors the Toyota Challenge featuring teams from the region in competition and the opportunity to travel to Japan. The Toyota Hockey Challenge consists of round robin competition amongst top Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge teams, with the top two teams then competing in a one-game show down that will determine the team to represent the Tri-Cities in a once-in-a-lifetime cultural exchange to Japan. The team that wins the Toyota Hockey Challenge will travel to Hokkaido, Japan during March Break for a cultural exchange with the Tomakomai Allstars, all expenses paid by TMMC. Thanks Toyota!
