Congratulations to Ms. Buchanan and the Bandits
The value in playing multi-sports as high performance athletes cannot be understated. Getting away from the ice, using different muscles and skill sets all benefit Septembers on ice performance. We are pleased that so many of our ladies play, and have success in, other sports.

On behalf of the coaching staff, players and parents, our congratulations to Ms. Buchanan and her Bandit teammates for their “Queen of the Diamonds” tournament silver this past weekend. Well done!

The Toyota Hockey Challenge consists of round robin competition amongst top Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge teams, with the top two teams then competing in a one-game show down that will determine the team to represent the Tri-Cities in a once-in-a-lifetime cultural exchange to Japan. The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program for children four to eight years old who participate in local house league sports teams. The program's philosophy is not based on winning or losing - but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just taking time out to be a kid. Tim Hortons currently sponsors over 200,000 children who play on hockey, soccer, lacrosse, t-ball, baseball and ringette teams across Canada and in the United States. Each sponsored team is supplied with Timbits Minor Sports jerseys or T-shirts.
