Sunday in the Loo
For their first of four meetings this season, the Lady Rangers travelled up Highway 85 to face the Waterloo Ravens.
A good first had the Lady’s out shooting and out chancing the Ravens with several signs of good “patience” on the PP. Halfway through the second, the Lady’s would finally capitalize on their PP opportunity on a nice slot shot heading into the break. The Lady’s would go up by two early in the third with a slow but steady penalty shot goal before having penalty trouble of their own in the remaining eleven minutes. Although out shot and out chanced by the Ravens, some great PP and DZ play would earn the Lady’s their second win of the weekend.
There were some better choices and options this game but as the teams get better, you need to challenge yourselves to make these choices “quicker”. Watch from the bench, understand what they are running and be prepared for your next shift. Congratulations on two well-deserved points.
