All Swedish and no Finnish
For the first time this season the Lady’s welcomed the Guelph Gryphons to Sportsworld for a Saturday afternoon game.

With fifteen shots alone in the first period, the Lady’s capitalized on a great net front effort to go up by one. Although generating opportunity most shifts, that would be the only one of the forty plus shots to find its way onto the scoreboard. Several momentary lapses in D zone coverage (can’t run and must watch the chest) could have had the game go a different way if were not for some solid goaltending of our own.  

We really need to focus more in practice and work on the “Finnish” to the opportunities you are creating. As coach James said, giving a little more breathing room to our goaltenders would be appreciated. The division remains very close and every point matters.

Sun Life Kids In Gear
Donna's Kids is pleased to partner again for 2019/2020 season with Sun Life and their Kids In Gear program. Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, as part of their mandate, provides financial support for children in this community who, without our assistance, would not be afforded the opportunity to participate in organized hockey in the City of Kitchener. Monies for this cause have been donated by various individuals and organizations over the years, however with increasing demands we have the need to provide further support for this program. One hundred per cent of the funds raised by KIDS IN GEAR are channelled directly to purchase equipment for children.
