Weekend at Bernies
With over thirty-two minutes in penalties, the officials arm felt like it came from the “Weekend at Bernies” movie (ask your folks).

The Lady Rangers traveled to Ayr Sunday night to take on the Rockets in their first meeting of the season. Ice time maybe catching up too many and the first period looked like the Lady’s were asleep. In a penalty filled second, the Lady’s gave up the first goal on a Rocket 5 v. 3 before capitalizing on a PP of their own. A nice 2 v. 1 rebound gave the Lady’s a brief lead before the Rockets answered on a delayed penalty call point screen shot. As the arm continued to raise, the Lady’s would capitalize on two more of their own PP’s in a wild second period that saw all of the games scoring. Although the parade to the box continued in the third, the Lady’s would hold their own and come away with the “W”.

In what sounds like a record on repeat, although not fond of your play in the first, a better second with a nice bounce back after the tying goal, gave you two more points in a very tight division. You must play to the level that you are capable of and not that of others. There is too much riding on February to continue to do so.
