Condolences to the Southern Alberta Mustangs
On behalf of the Kitchener Lady Rangers U18A players, staff and parents, I wanted to offer our condolences to the families, friends, billet families, teammates and coaches on the tragic motor vehicle accident which took the lives of three Mustang players on Monday while travelling to team practice. 

Leaving our practice last night to the “mysterious” car horn honking (it’s not me coach), I am reminded of how fortunate we are every time we step on and off the ice. 

Thoughts and prayers to the entire Southern Alberta Mustangs community.

Monies for this cause have been donated by various individuals and organizations over the years, however with increasing demands we have the need to provide further support for this program. One hundred per cent of the funds raised by KIDS IN GEAR are channelled directly to purchase equipment for children.

The Toyota Hockey Challenge consists of round robin competition amongst top Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge teams, with the top two teams then competing in a one-game show down that will determine the team to represent the Tri-Cities in a once-in-a-lifetime cultural exchange to Japan. The team that wins the Toyota Hockey Challenge will travel to Hokkaido, Japan during March Break for a cultural exchange with the Tomakomai Allstars, all expenses paid by TMMC. Thanks Toyota!
