The Lady Rangers hosted the Ayr Rockets in their final game of the 2025 / 2026 regular season.
After twenty-one regular season games against the Ayr Rockets, Brantford Ice Cats, Cambridge Roadrunners, Guelph Gryphons, Saugeen Maitland Lightning, South Huron Sabres, Stratford Aces, Waterloo Ravens and the Woolwich Wild, the Lady Rangers ended their regular season play in game number twenty-two against the Ayr Rockets. A strong first saw the Lady’s out shooting and out chancing the Rockets but the score board would show things tied at “one”. In a penalty filled second period which saw both sides take fourteen minutes each (I’m not good with math but in a fifteen-minute period….), the Lady’s continued their solid play. Remaining tied heading into the break, the Lady’s would score just under three minutes into the third to secure the final “W” of the regular season. The win kept the Lady Rangers in 2nd place for the season with an overall record of 12 wins, 7 losses and 3 ties for 27 points. Just how close was the Central West Division this season?

Post-game #22
With thirteen new faces joining us this season, a second-place finish is certainly well-deserved. Your ability to make good “Choices and Options” is clear but as we discussed, attention to detail will be key as we get ready for the “second season” of play.
