All hands on deck! The Generals are in deep against a surging Knights team! Are we gonna walk the plank or fire the cannons?
I think at last count we will have 8 skaters and 2 goalies this Saturday...hmmmm. The Knights currently are hot, for sure still celebrating their big 5 - 2 win against the Ice Dogs last Saturday. What are we to do?
First, take a deep breath...
I'm guessing we'll roll 3 defensemen & 5 forwards, suck back tons of water and keep the adrenaline pumping on the bench to keep up with our opponents. It will be a tough three periods, but we did it once before in February and we can do it again!
We need one hundred and ten percent from every General to make it happen this Saturday...Kaiym, you rocked on forward before when we needed you; you might have to do your thing on forward again. To the Novotny & Hickman dads, don't plan on sitting in the stands drinking coffee and cat-calling the refs about missed offsides calls, you're going to be coaching on the bench! Lets get down to business and play some hockey!!!
