Bombers Get Bombed!
The Bombers got chewed up by the Infernao Saturday at Sportsworld. It was the Bombers third straight loss this season -- a first in franchise history. The capacity crowd hadn't even settled in when the Inferno went ahead 1-0 midway through the first period. "We couldn't find our groove" said Adam K of the Bombers.
The Bombers were a well disciplined team and able to stay out of the box for most of the game.
"We turned the pucks over in the offensive zone, 2-on-1s, and they buried us in the third period," Bombers coach Dave Robinson said. "Some nights you have to bend not break, and they broke us early in the third."
"It was a bad afternoon team wise," Adam said. Coach Robinson has already forewarned the boys that there will be no pucks at practice on Wednesday, so be prepared for some suicide drills!
