It all comes down to this weekend boys.  We have a team that has been through many trials.  We started this year in Essex.  We hardly knew each other and we ended that weekend as champions.  We have had teammates face challenges beyond the arena and they have come back as champions.  We have faced a Waterloo team that was undefeated and we put them in their place.  We have had games where our numbers were few and still we achieved results that no other team could attain.  We have been hit, slashed, tripped but we still keep going.  Whatever happened in the regular season we must put behind us.  This is the playoffs and we are a team to be reckoned with.

Hi everyone.  You would have been proud to see your boys interact with the seniors at the retirement home - they truly made the day for all the seniors in attendance.  The boys were respectful, well-mannered and all in all had a lot of fun.
Please see some of the photos of the Senior Home visit.
A special shout out to Sylvia for arranging the visit and Lynn and Sue for putting this together.  As well, thank you for the cake - a great way to spend my 39th birthday - someone made a mistake on the cake

This weekend provided a strong reminder of how much work is ahead of us if we are to challenge for top spot in the AA pool.  Every game will be difficult and we need to stick together.  Just like our Rock Climbing we will need to rely on our teammates.

Welcome to AA, here we go...Five points out of 6 for the weekend puts us in fourth place for the first part of the season.  Congratulations!
So far so good but the road gets tougher.  Get ready to work next practice.  I hear the workout will be so hard that most OHL players can't survive it.  Bring your water!   Parents...they may leave as boys to the practice but they will be coming home as men.
Next weekend we are off to Guelph to play against some tough competition.  Keep up the team mentality!
