New skaters will learn how to skate with support from coaches; skating aids are also available.
- 1:1 support from On-Ice Helpers throughout practices and games.
- Some basic drills, teaching skills that are fundamental to the game of hockey.
- Approximately 6 games (home & away) throughout the season.
The Fundamentals of Hockey team practices at Activa Sportsplex on Saturdays at 12:15 p.m.
Each of the Ice Pirates teams is open to players of any age, with players being placed on a team based on their ability while on the ice. We promote social engagement and friendships throughout practices.
