Stoney Creek Midget Showcase Tournament
The Kitchener Lady Rangers Midget AA participated in the 2013 Stoney Creek Midget Showcase Tournament, hosting 64 teams from across Canada and the United States, September 6-8, 2013.
The girls played three great games. They defeated Pittsburgh 3-0, defeated Hamilton 3-2 and defeated Ottawa Ice 2-1. With these three wins, the Kitchener Lady Rangers Midget AA finished first over all in their pool.
With this first place finish, the Midget AAs played St Mary’s Academy from Manitoba in the quarter finals eventually losing the fast paced game 1-0.
The girls truly came out with their ‘AA’ game. Congratulations girls on a very successful weekend.
