Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA elminate Hamilton in Quarter Finals
The Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA hockey club eliminated the Hamilton Huskies the Alliance Quarter Final series.
The 4th place Jr. Rangers met the 5th place Hamilton Huskies in a series that saw two very evenly matched teams face off against one another.
Kitchener hosted game 1 and skated away with a 5-1 victory.
Game 2 the Jr. Rangers traveled to Hamilton and due to bad weather had the game location and time changed late in the day of game 2 but that didn't faze the Jr. Rangers as they skated to a hard earned 2-1 road victory.
Game 3 was back in Activa and the Jr. Rangers gripped their sticks a little tight early but found their stride and earned a well deserved 4-0 victory to take the quarter final series 6 points to 0.
With the win the Jr. Rangers advance to the Alliance Semi-Finals to face a yet to be determined opponent. Every player on the Jr. Rangers contributed throughout this series as the boys in blue played a solid team game each game.
