Minor Atom, 2015-2016, Select (Kitchener Minor Hockey)

Wow!  What an exciting weekend of hockey.  We started off dominating both games on Friday, winning both games by shutouts.  Saturday the games were extremely close, losing by one goal in the morning, and in a shootout in the Semi final Saturday evening in a very exciting and emotional game. Everyone should be very proud of all the boys.  They played great, had plenty of ups and downs, learned a lot about playing as a team, and even came together in the last game to choose one of the Players of the Game.  The Coaches are all very happy for the results that we saw, and know this is just ...

We want to thank everyone for attending the tryouts, and working so hard throughout.  Final selections have been made, and all kids have been contacted.  For the kids that have been selected, Congratulations, and we look forward to an exciting year, which starts tomorrow afternoon with our first practice at 2PM @ Activa. The Coaches want to thank all the kids that were at the tryout last Sunday.  Great to see everyone working so hard this early in the season. For those of you that are not continuing to our final tryout - Good luck this season, and keep working hard! For those that are taking part in our final tryout this Friday, at Don McLaren, please be there by 6:45 PM.  This tryout will be an intra squad game, starting at 7:30pm. We will be having our tryouts starting this Sunday, Oct. 11th.  Tryouts are by invitation only.  We will be contacting players after the evaluations this Saturday to invite you to the tryout. Coach Carey
