A 500 Km road trip through our first snow storm of the year found our Peewee A Lady Rangers at the 33rd annual Cornwall Girls Hockey Association Competitive Tournament. With a record of 2 wins, no losses and a tie we ran into a very tough competitor in Lac St. Louis, QC. Despite solid efforts and meaningful contributions from all players we came up just short of the gold. Off the ice the girls participated in an Amazing Race of epic proportions. I'm sure this weekend will be remembered for a very long time. We are all very proud of your achievement. Let's carry this momentum forward ...

The 2016/17 Lady Rangers season is well underway. We have a very full game schedule approaching with few practices so expect there to be many chalk talks before, after and during the games. These pre-season exhibition games will show us where our strengths are and what we will need to focus our practice sessions on. What we learned today: #1 - if you stand back and let the other team make a play they will often make a good one.
