KLR Intermediate A Has a Strong Season
The KLR Intermediate A team concluded their 2016-2017 season with a strong performance at Provincials.
Action started against Mississauga and despite our girls dominating for most of the game, a short lapse in the 3rd period gave them the win 4-3. The team bounced back against Whitby with a great game that featured an exciting last minute tying goal by our girls to end the game 1-1. The next day featured strong wins over Ennismore 1-0 (we out-shot them 38-5) and North York 3-0. Unfortunately, we finished one point out of advancing to the quarters. Overall, the team finished with a phenomenal 34-13-11 record which was due to the outstanding team chemistry and work ethic. Congratulations to all of the girls and thanks also to all of our loyal fans for an amazing and memorable season.
