Kitchener vs Ayr
Submitted By Melissa Doerr on Sunday, February 18, 2018
Saturday Night Hockey was a tough game for the girls. They took to the ice to take on the Ayr Rockets. The Rockets took the lead in the first period but the Lady Rangers continued to try and tie the game. Late in the 2nd period the Rockets scored again to make it 2-0. The Lady Rangers had to fight through the game more physically then what they are used to be eventually would get on in the back of the net late in the third! Down by 1 with 40 secs left in the game the girls gave it their all. The coaches were very impressed that the girls gave it their all right until the very last buzzer. Congrats to Keeling for walking away with the hardest worker Helmet for the night ! The Rangers will Travel to Ayr next Sunday afternoon for a rematch !
