The girls faced off against Ayr again this weekend , this time in Ayr. They played a strong defensive game just could not cash in on some chances in front of the net. As Coaches our message to the girls this season has always been work hard and have fun , and once again they did that with smiles on their faces. Nya came out with the hardest working Helmet today. Nya had an end to end rush to put the Rangers on the score Board late in the Third Period. Great Job Nya !

Saturday Night Hockey was a tough game for the girls. They took to the ice to take on the Ayr Rockets. The Rockets took the lead in the first period but the Lady Rangers continued to try and tie the game. Late in the 2nd period the Rockets scored again to make it 2-0. The Lady Rangers had to fight through the game more physically then what they are used to be eventually would get on in the back of the net late in the third! Down by 1 with 40 secs left in the game the girls gave it their all. The coaches were very impressed that the girls gave it their all right until the very last buzzer. Congrats to Keeling for walking away with the hardest worker Helmet for the night ! The Rangers will Travel to Ayr next Sunday afternoon for a rematch !

On Friday night , the Kitchener Novice DS travelled to Waterloo for a rematch from the previous weekend. The girls had to adjust to the bigger ice size but once they were out there they brought their "A" game! Kayla started the scoring in the 2nd period and once again Sophia was steller in net and came up with some big saves. A nice pass out front the net Helped Taylor to get the 2nd goal of the game ! Chloe worked extra hard on the ice and came away with the helmet! Good Win Girls !

The girls came out ready to play tonight. They had great Defence and worked hard as a team. A sticky puck made for  difficulties on some possible break away situations. Great game by all girls. Hardest Working Player of the game tonight went to Sophia Shannon for making some great saves to keep us in the game. Congrats on the Shutout!! The two teams will meet up again on Friday night in Waterloo.
