Winterfest Champs
For the second time this year the Major Atom Selects traveled out of town to compete in there second tournament of the year. This time it was the 16th Annual Stoney Creek Winterfest Tournament, the team played very hard and came away with there second tournament title of the year.
Once again the team displayed there commitment to playing a team oriented game, which was on full display through out the whole tournament. It all starts with solid goaltending and an impenetrable defense, the competition would only muster 4 goals on us the whole tournament. The forward lines started to come together scoring highlight reel goal after highlight reel goal. We averaged a total of 6 goals a game, with that kind of production it was hard for any team to keep up.
