The Rangers came out strong on New Year’s Eve against the Centre Wellington Fusion after suffering a loss to them before the Christmas Break!
It was a fast paced game of hockey for both teams and finding the back of the net was something the Rangers would need to work hard for. Both teams were battling hard in all three zones, each wanting to start the new year off with a win!
The Rangers opened up the scoring with a goal from Evan S. and the assist from Spencer S in the second period. Centre Wellington came back with a goal to tie the game at 1 all. Nathan H. was impressive in the net, keeping the score at 1-1.
Into the third period, Owen S. scored the second goal for the Rangers putting the score at 2-1.
All members of the team; defence and offence came together in the last minutes of the third period to secure the win.
The coaches are very proud of the efforts made by all Rangers and are excited to see what 2018 brings!
