Big win for blue to Start the second half of the Season
The boys really worked hard tonight. We made some changes to the lineup tonight and the boys responded.
The first period was fast paced with both teams exchanging numerous chances but our goalie and defense stood tall and the forwards offered tenacious back checking to keep the score even.
The second period is always a challenge with the long change. After offering up a couple chances to Waterloo we replied with a beauty goal by Carson who showed great patience to bury the biscuit.
The third period was faced paced and hard checking. Waterloo tied the game within 3 min remaining after making the first seven saves they manged to get one past the Tender. But slick moves and a great shot by Ellis put us back up on the very next shift.
The Anger line kept the puck down deep in the opposition zone for about a minute to help close off the game. Griffion stood tall to seal the victory
All in all a great game well played.
We are looking forward to success in the second half of the season
