Making up for a “Snow Game”, the Lady
Rangers hosted the Wildcats for a rare Wednesday game.
On a day with several High School games already played, the ladies came out F-L-A-T to start the first. Finding their legs, several opportunities were generated and shots “for” were better than the shots “against”. A nice point shot opened scoring in the second before a missed coverage had things tied at “one” heading into the break. Finally playing Lady Rangers hockey in the third, a beautiful weak side pass, a nice lane drive and an “empty netter” from long range sealed the “W”. Well the win was deserved, there were moments (read shifts) of “what the” heck hockey. When chaos comes, remember to breath and that the boards are your friend. Patience and good D-Zone coverage will keep the chaos at bay.
Three games left in the 2019 – 2020 season ladies. Continue to work hard on all the “little” things that will make you successful.
