Welcome to the Kitchener Jr. Rangers U11 Seeded
Tryouts.
By the end of the week we will be selecting 15 skaters and two goalies to play for our team this 2021/22 season. The coaches will not only be looking for skilled hockey players, but hard working, mature young kids to be a part of this team.
Here are the scheduled tryout dates, with releases after the Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. We will post player lists for the first two sessions on Saturday (18th) evening:
Monday, September 20th @ Activa – 5pm-8pm (3 groups)
Tuesday, September 21st @ Activa – 5:15pm-8:15pm (3 groups)
Wednesday, September 22nd @ Kinsmen – 5pm-8pm (2 intersquad games - rosters likely posted Tuesday afternoon)
Saturday, September 25th @ Activa – 12pm-1pm (Intersquad Game)
Sunday, September 26th @ Albert McCormick – 1pm-2:30pm (Exhibition Game in Waterloo)
Please check our website after each tryout for your Identification number to see if your child moves on.

Although we are hopeful for a return to games and travel this year, everything is still based on government regulations. We’ve proactively planned this season as if we were back to normal. This includes the following tournaments:
Bradford – October 15-17
Kitchener – October 22-24
Oshawa – December 3-5
Preston – January 14-16
Please note that if your child is selected for this team, you will need to confirm a hotel room for the Bradford tournament fairly quickly. We have blocked off rooms at the Nottawasaga Inn Resort and we’ve been told we have until October 1st for each family to confirm their room. More information will be provided at our first practice on Monday, September 27th.
