Organization - 3rd Provincial Lockdown
Submitted By KMHA on Thursday, April 1, 2021
Good afternoon KMHA families and supporters. It is with great disappointment that we are writing to inform you that another Provincial lockdown has been imposed and will prohibit all participation in team sport, close arenas and cause all hockey programming to stop until May 2nd.  While disappointed KMHA supports any actions that keep our players and families safe so that we can all return to play, when it is safe to do so. The KMHA board is calling an emergency board meeting to determine our exact programming response to this lockdown and our plans for the remaining 4 weeks of this season.

These responses could include,
A: extending the season,
B: cancelling the remainder of the season and issuing a refund for ice and referees outstanding from each team,
C: or a hybrid approach.
We will post an update on Wednesday April 7th of next week on our website and email all families.   To be clear all programs and ice-times will operate until end of day Friday April 2nd and cancellations will commence beginning Saturday April 3rd as directed by the provincial safety orders. Team Calendars are being updated and we thank you for your patience and support for all KMHA players.
