The U12 BB/B Kitchener Jr. Rangers win the John MacDonald Memorial Tournament in St. Catherines!
The U12 B/BB Red Jr. Rangers have emerged victorious in the John MacDonald Memorial Tournament this past weekend. Despite losing their first game, the team showcased their resilience and determination by winning their next four games straight and ultimately clinching the gold medal!
While facing elimination in 3 out of their last 4 games, the team was able to stave off elimination, even by coming back in the third on two separate occasions. The team's coaches played a crucial role in guiding and motivating the players throughout all their games in the tournament.
The final game of the tournament was a true testament to the U12 BB/B Jr. Rangers unwavering spirit. Facing a formidable opponent in the Oakville Rangers, they never gave up, even when down 2-1 going into the third period, they left everything on the ice. With each passing minute, the intensity grew, and the crowd was on the edge of their seats, but our Rangers were successful in tying the game up late and then scoring the game winning goal with only 1:30 left on the clock!
This remarkable achievement serves as a testament to the Rangers hard work and dedication to a very full schedule to start the season. The coaches are extremely proud of the boys and congratulate them on this amazing achievement and success so early in the season. They would also like to thank their affiliated players (APs) who played a crucial role in the win.
