The
Kitchener Lady Rangers U18 “A’s” played a late evening Remembrance Day away
game against the Guelph Jr. Gryphons.
Off to their best start of the season, the Lady’s capitalized on an early power play opportunity, a follow you shot to the net rebound and a quick rebound release to take the early lead. Although the first half of the second was a little disjointed with some clogged lanes and missed passes, the Lady’s did regroup to keep their early lead heading into the third. A late fail to clear on the penalty kill would erase the shutout but still the give the Lady’s a well earned “W”.
You were hot on the ice and hot off the ice in a fairly well executed game (hydration remains key!). As discussed, work still needs to be done on both “words on the wall”. It will help you out and help your sister’s out. Starting now will benefit us all come February.
Our thanks to the Gryphons for their respect shown in the playing of the National Anthem pre-game. We are all fortunate to be where we are today and remain thankful to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We will never forget.
