One
week later, the Kitchener Lady Rangers U18 “A’s” welcomed the Gryphons in a Saturday
afternoon return home game.
The Lady’s had a good start in the first showing some hustle and good puck movement. Although capitalizing on their second shot of the period, the second started slow and remained so until the late stages. The Lady’s answered the challenge (well done!) coming out strong and remaining so for the final fifteen.
Every game requires the same hard work. We must find “F3” at both ends of the ice. Our eyes must stay on the chest. We must remember why we do drills in practice (think perpetual 3 on 2) and bring those concepts to the games. All of these remain our on-ice expectations of you, in every game, on every shift.
Keep challenging yourselves ladies. February depends on it.
