U18 KLR Blue # 2745, Kitchener Girls Local League, 2024-2025, OWHA (Kitchener Minor Hockey)

Kitchener Lady Rangers U18 Blue are golden again!!  This group of young ladies celebrated the Christmas holidays with another tournament win, this time on home ice in the Jason Cripps Memorial Christmas Tournament.  It was a total team effort with timely scoring and shutdown defensive work, allowing only 3 goals against in 6 games, while battling tough teams from Grand River and not one…not two…but three different Waterloo teams on route to the championship gold.  What a great way to almost close out the first half of the season.  Keep it rolling ladies!!!

The Kitchener Lady Rangers U18 Blue set out to Milton to play in the North Halton Twisters Fall Classic HL Tournament.  After starting out with a loss to a tough Waterloo Ravens team these ladies dug deep and through sheer grit and determination scratch and clawed their way into the semi finals where they overpowered the 1st seed team from Burlington before meeting the same Ravens team again in the championship finals.  And after a close hard-fought battle they emerged victorious with a 2-1 tournament championship clinching victory.  The coaching staff couldn’t be more proud of this group of ...
