Great Effort
Despite a tough start to our schedule where we only managed 2 ties in our first 6 league games our Kitchener Lady Rangers Midget B/C team were able to keep a positive attitude, practiced hard and bonded as a team at the recent Etobicoke tournament where they won the consolation final in a 9 player shootout. On Sunday Nov. 6th we went down to Norfolk, with 2 of our players missing, and beat the first place team by a score of 1-0. Stacey Gorloff, having just returned from a serious concussion, scored the winner on a breakaway in the 3rd period. Our goaltender, defense and some great defensive play by our forwards took over from there. WAY TO GO GIRLS. Lets continue the positive play that we have shown!!!!!
