Novice A, 2011-2012, AA (Kitchener Minor Hockey)

    As January 22nd quickly approaches, the anticipation is rapidly building to a boiling point. With well over 700 Girls and Young Women from all over Southern Ontario getting ready to lace them up together.

The NHL archives list the first ever Women’s Hockey Game as taking place in Ottawa Ontario in 1889, the CHA (Canadian Hockey Association ) counters with the first game occurring in Barrie Ontario 1892. One hundred and twenty years later girls of all ages continue the tradition of “The Game” that still sparks passion in young and old alike.

The Kitchener Novice ‘A’ Lady Rangers have announced their team Captain for the 2011/2012 Season. Coach Cam made the announcement at the morning skate today. Smokey (Nicole) has been selected to lead her fellow Ladies into the upcoming regular season.
