A Well Played Loss
Tonight the Rangers played the Lawfield Thunder and it proved to be an exciting game.  The boys came out ready to play and we definatley had some quality chances.  Aiden moved to defense tonight and put in a solid effort while Mathew moved up to forward and played very well.  Ethan won the hard hat worker of the game because he stood tall on defense and was not letting anyone passed him.  He was really stong on the puck.  Nathan had another stellar game tonight and showed that he is definitely an offensive defensmen with a good hockey sense for the game.  Our forwards had another tough night with a lot of chances but not enough finishes.

With seconds to go in the first period Lawfield took a 1-0 lead but the boys didn't give up and kept trying to score a goal but came up short again. Mathew, Quinten, and Cameron played well together and didn't give up many chances. Conner, Robert and Jonas had a few chances and showed good puck control. Antonio, Mark and Arthur were speedy and came close to opening the scoring but just missed on a few of their chances.  In the second period Lawfield took a 3-0 lead and never looked back. Ody and Samson did what they could to help stop Lawfields offence and our goaltenders made some key saves to keep the game within reach. Antonio found his scoring touch again but it was to little to late and the game ended 5-1 for Lawfield. The boys played a good game but again had trouble scoring and thats what the difference was. Good Job boys.
