Wow what a great weekend for some great kids.  This past weekend we played some of our best hockey ever.  We peaked at the right time winning the Alliance Championship with a great team effort from everyone who played.  Each player contributed to the victories through scoring or assisting to stopping pucks and back checking.  Connor won player of the tournament for this past weekend with some stellar scoring. Jonas and Robert were fierce whenever they had the puck. That second unit really controlled the play of some of our games.  They were a threat whenever they were out on the ice by creating space and drwaing players to them.  They showed good puck control and good passing.  Read More

Last night we played the Brantford Church Saints and we were missing four key players from our line up.  We called up Lucas and he chipped in a goal to give us the lead in the second period.  Our first period was a little slow but once we found our groove we played some good hockey.  Our goalies were the difference in this game comming up with big saves at key moments in the game.  Great effort tonight Logan and Carson.  The rest of the team really picked up the slack and came together to play hard and win the game 4-1. Ody led the defense tonight with his goal and assist with a wrist shot from the point that found the back of the net.  Good Game Boys:)

Saturday the Rangers hosted the Centre Wellington Selects.  The Boys were clearly ready to play this game and came out flying.  Quinten opened the scoring and birthday boy Connor scored a natural hat trick to give the Rangers a 4-0 lead.  The goals kept comming for us but what impressed us the most was the puck sharing.  The boys were passing the puck very well in this game and it shows in the final score of 11-0.  All of our players showed up for this game and we were sound defensivley not allowing many opportunities against us. Mark won the hard hat worker of the game for his consistant play with and without the puck.  Happy Birthday to Aidan and Connor.  Good game boys.

This past weekend we saw some exciting hockey games from kids who wanted nothing more but to win.  The games started on Friday against Parkdale Select where they came out flying and we started a bit flat.  The boys battled through and with the help of Connor's hat trick and a good 3rd period we won 6-2.
Our second game was a little easier for us winning 13-0.  Everyone was passing really well and getting shots through to the net.  Arthur and Connor had 4 point games and the rest of the team managed to stay focused and chip in when needed.
