Ready.....Set.......Wait
Submitted By Jarid Peterson on Tuesday, October 1, 2013
The regular season schedule is set, but our Lady Rangers will have to wait to get started. Although technically the LLFHL season can start as early as today, the Belles in Blue will have a week and a half of practice before opening on the road in Cambridge versus the Roadrunners on October 11th, the day following will see the Kitchener Girls in their Home Opener against their cross town rival Ravens from Waterloo.

After a very encouraging preseason, Coach Dave is welcoming some good practice time with the girls, giving them more time to bond as a team and get ready for the challenging season ahead. A smaller travel loop will have the Lady Rangers facing each divisional team three to four times throughout the year.

As part of the LLFHL Atom AA West division, Kitchener is in tough with teams from Waterloo, Cambridge, London, Burlington, Stoney Creek and Oakville. The Atom AA East division features Clarington, Aurora, Etobicoke, Whitby, Scarborough and Brampton and although there are no inter divisional games these would be possible opponents during tournaments.

As our Girls continue working on their skills and shaking off some summer rust, they continue to be positive and motivated, each team member dedicated to doing everything they can to support and encourage each other to achieve success.

Good Luck Girls we can’t wait to get started.
