Congratulations to the Lady Rangers on a great win last night in Seaforth.  The ladies kept the school bus rocking with lots of singing in between slices of pizza.  Thanks to Lisa and Kathy for contributing to the cause and to all parents for supporting the idea of bussing to the game.  Congratulations also goes to Annika on being named team Captain. Her hustle and never-ending smile will serve her well as a leader.   Assistant Captains will be announced after this weekend's games.  Go Rangers!

With a 5-3-1 record to start the year we are steaming off at an encouraging early season pace.  In practice we are continuing to balance our time working on the fundamental skills of the game while incorporating some tactical levels of learning.  All of our success this year will be grounded in hard work and perseverance; and that continues away from the rink with our 50 shots a day at home...with a puck! Keep the pace up, ladies!  Hard working talent beats talent hardly working every single time.

With a strong pre-season giving the girls a healthy dose of confidence, the Atom B Lady Rangers are now ready to tackle the regular season.  The Lady Rangers look strong up the middle, vaunted on the wing and solid on the back end, and in net.  We are all looking forward to a season of hard-working hockey with more laughs than goals and more friendships than tears. The Atom B Lady Rangers have started off their pre-season with two strong wins over quality opponents in Cambridge and Flamborough.  Strong skating and hustle in the corners helped Kitchener beat the Cambridge BB Roadrunners 3-1 on Saturday.  Isabella scored the team's first goal of the year to begin our run.  On Sunday a spectacular passing play from Elly to Annika racing to the net proved to be the game winner in a 3-2 win over the Flamborough Falcons.  Gracey also contributed to a strong team effort.  Annika's first ever goal ended a play that spectators were talking about long after the ...
